Who are thse people? Do You know? If you do, you will have to be in your fiftes and remember back some 37 years ago and maybe even remember Westwood High School cir. 1970 ish. Thanks to Gail (Beck) Earl who lives in Moses Lake WA. who brought me this photo. Love it! And really, who is the cute guy on the right? We think his name might be Steve something. Carol Malone in the background! Kind of fun and cute huh? That was a long time ago. Eh? Are those styles back in? Jsut think if we had saved all those "outfits!" Thanks for being friends all these years Gail!

"Son Of The Beach"

We were @ Sams' Club today and saw beach umbrellas. Parker turns to me all excited and says, "We need a counter on your blog." As you know I love to support Parker, but what did he mean by a counter on our blog? He informed me that we need a countdown calendar to remind us and ours of the beach trip we will have in July. The beach umbrellas brought it all to mind. Parker has made a beach pilgrimage every year as long as I can remember and before that with his family. It's a chance to get away to cooler weather for some of this,

I mentioned that I needed to get some sunscreen, and he gave me the first of many summertime hints that are sure to be just what all of you need for your beach day enjoyment.
Tip of the Day: Make sure to apply sunscreen a half hour before exposure for best protection.


Parker knows stuff.

Now the only question is how to I put a countdown counter on this thing? I'll ask Parker.

The tradition is to tell the Birthday child the entire story of their birth, Oh no, not the “You were smaller than a dot” story, but the story of the day you came to be in our family. This year I am not standing on that tradition,(you’re welcome Meg)but a simple sharing of a few of the reasons why we are glad that Megan was born.

The Tassel Is Worth The Hassle!

A brief update from the Moffat clan. We are temporarily in seclusion sewing back on the buttons that were burst in pride over our graduates last weekend.

It's great to get a two-fer in the Graduation Dept. We loved the Pomp and Circumstance. (Start the Music now) The Pomp was fun and the circumstance of getting off to the event was one that we worked carefully around.We Thank you all for the faith and prayers in behalf of Parker.

The Best circumstance is having the Family together(all Except Rob,who was missed through the weekend) and getting some G-Ma and G-Pa time w/ the G-Kids.

Plus Happy Golden Birthday to Mac! (You know, 29 on the 29th! Yay!) It was fun to have his cute little bunch with us.

A Birthday Greeting with Love!

26 years ago today.... A wonderful thing happened in the Moffat Home. It was Jacob!

To be precise, Jacob Ammon Moffat. He weighed in at 10 lbs. 3 oz. and was the 4th of four boys, all busy, happy, smart and challenging. He had an appetite to match and was very cuddly and slept through the night his first time just past a week old! He was happy to be here, a very pleasant and easy to love baby. He had a ready smile and a fun personality. As the youngest, he was cute and engaging and everyone loved to play with Jacob, except the big neighborhood boys.Over the years we have quoted him(And now I’m goin to avite a poe-son up to twy it...oh gweat, you bwoke it!), watched him lead( MHS slowing down for the school on Harris St.), watched him perform, (the drunk in every play for two years) watched him play(golf and croquet and ping-pong) and followed him around. I don’t know where the green pancakes thing got started, but for years Jacob was served green pancakes on his birthday. Now his lovely assistant Emily performs the green pancake duties flawlessly.Here are Maddi and Daddy enjoying proxy pancakes in honor of Jacob’s Birthday. Happy 26th today Jacob. You rock harder than early Van Halen! You are a miracle, you can do anything!! Love MOM

So finally tonight we start the production week that has been in progress for well... since just after Thanksgiving. It's preview night!

I've been kinda directing and my right arm and mega Producer and especially friend, has been Delia Alston. To say the least it has been a ride. My friend, Kathryn Tellef, is the Choir teacher @ Taylor Jr. High and does a wonderful job of getting a great sound and Candice Huffaker has been the choreographer - so great. These ladies and so many more (that it would be unfair to name) have come together and made this a great show. Any who would like a nice evening out might consider "The Music Man" as a fun get away. Who knows... next week I might vacuum or dust! Naaah!
