blissful = baby #2

So you might have heard by now that

Cammy and Mac

have been blessed by a 2nd visit from

the stork...

and this little pink bundle arrived Monday the 5th of October

@ 5:11 am.

She (Chantelle)weighed in @ 7 lbs. 9 oz.

and is a little carbon copy of the big sister - McKenna. (Below)

Mom and daughter are doing great and the

proud papa is getting his kisses in early.

This new little one is so far very mellow and has had barely a cry.

Just wait till Mckenna gets to be around for the 20 month old

mothering that will be sure to take place. Here's Madison getting into the auntie act.

And why did I get the crud in the first place when I was just minding my own business?

Well I might have been minding some other people's business just a little bit. But I'm just saying.

cause I get to play Grandma this weekend and I can't be sick and

I need to show some really cute people how to make this.

Mean time, I have caught up on SYTYCD and Biggest Loser and now I want to

live!!!!! You know, use my brain again etc.

My "boyfriend" and I  got to spend the weekend in So. Cali.  and got to do the things we love to do  and together.

Two X Four!

Finally you say........... So, Two years ago (OMGosh) I challenged my quilt 2 groupies (Cross Point Ward Quilters) to a summer challenge. I gave them all a piece of this:and they were to make a block - 12" using this piece, a bit of muslin somewhere, and any other fabrics they saw fit, any pattern, just go for cute. They were to make 9 of their one block and then we would exchange and each of us would do with those 9 sampler blocks whatever we wanted. This one was mine just FYI.Well....... FF to '09 and finally this quilt is not only finished, fabulously quilted by my friend Gail Earl from Moses Lake Washington,but now hanging in the quilt shrine spot for all to see that it can be done! It's name?....... Well that's a problem for me.....I usually come up with a name right away, but this time not so much. (I have had some stuff on my mind) Any Ideas? Here is one of the great blocks that shows off the quilting. Yum.I am thinking that someone who might come up with a name for this might just win a little prize. You know a fabric treat of some kind.... hint... so get going now. Name idea deadline is Sat. Eve. 9:00pm on the 20th. I will choose then. I also just wanted to say that this is # 4! If anyone wanted to know. Remember that I am finishing 9 quilts in '09.(see feb. 25, '09 post) This would be #4. And it only took two years! Done, Done, and Done! Sigh...........

You know, that time of year has come around again, you know the one.  Some people say it's a tougher month than December, what with 

Mother's Day, 

end of the year school projects, finals, award assemblies, the heat(oh the heat!) Graduation and in our case a

  Wedding (12 days) 

there just doesn't seem to be any down time(you can tell there is no down time because we are behind on "House").    

Well, now that Madison is finished with Seussical the Musical, has bowled her last frame(for her P.E. credit)been 

Oriented @ ASU - Go Sun Devils!

and tonight received the award for outstanding student in

Theater ARTS!!!  

We can now sail through to Graduation. 

 Congrats Madison!  

You have been a joy to raise and you will make a difference where ever you go.  We love you and wish you all the best.

Makin' Headway!

So, I don't know who copy-catted who(Glenna) but I, like many of you made a goal to finish 9 quilts in 2009. It was one of the nine things I wanted to accomplish this year. Did I share those things.... uh ...well no. Why, you ask? Well, say you are doing fine on some of them and not so fine on others well you do the math. Here, I am sharing one good thing that is getting accomplished and it's only Feb. 25th.! Woo Hoo! Number One -

A Very "Mary" Sampler - finally finished after our Harmony Park Block of the Month season. Number Three "Stringing You Along" has been in the works for years. I have to name my quilts, so pardon me if the names worry you. Just get out more, give service, eat some chocolate, you'll be O.K. All 9 quilts are in the Queue. You know a list, an order to be accomplished, etc. I have 6 more that are in various stages of completion and those are the 9 that will be finished by Month 9 of 2009 or my name ain't Peg! I will fill you in as they get finished. Sh....don't tell... One more is off to Gail to be quilted as we speak. I'm really making headway.
