It seems we do this every year. It happens about the
14th of February.
It's that thing where we get dressed up and come to a little party at the Moffat's where someone who loves us cooks a meal and sets it up kind of cute and we get to play or learn something new about manners and maybe dance a little or listen to great music. Well this year is no different...

Who attended? G-Ma, Parker, Peg, Rich Jacie, Parker(little guy)Mac, Cammy, McKenna, Chantelle, Madison, and Noor(her date) Dates are required for those unmarried members of the family over 16 years of age. (Still wondering about that.....)
So here is the dress up...
the meal... what ever you want
(recipes available upon request, try the fry sauce, uh.... way yum)
the set up... kind of hints at 50's

For those of you we love who were not able to be with us.......
We missed you.........
but.....
Save the date, I think it is gonna be
February 12, 2012.
Might be the best one yet!

And for your enjoyment a little Valentine's Day Poem and a message;

I don't understand why Cupid was chosen to represent Valentine's Day. When I think about romance, the last thing on my mind is a short, chubby toddler coming at me with a weapon. ~Author Unknown

Cute! Thanks for sharing. We've always enjoyed the Sweetheart dinners when we've been able to be there. We keep on the tradition where we are whenever we're able. Look like you all had a rockin' time!
of course you have saddle oxfords.
the end.
Peg does it again, Over the Top! Great pictures, Great Party.
I am honored to say that I once attended the Sweetheart dinner as Meg's date. :)
Kelly... Yes you were! And Yay! Was that the Chinese Food one? A phenomenon..... very few "dates" from sweetheart dinner ever crossed our paths again as "dates", actually even friends. Some were even scared off completely by our "zeal". Glad to know that you are still a friend. Happy Valentine's day to you!
these sweetheart dinners are the cutest thing ever! so fun.
and ps: gma is in my ward [if i'm not mistaken] & i love her.
Peg, you are more fun and have more energy than anyone I know. I adore all your ideas and your sense of setting traditions. I love being your friend. I think it's so dang cute that Parker buys right into all your shenanigans and is such a wonderful helper. I hope your kids, in-laws and grandbabies all appreciate you. You are the bomb-dizzle fur shure and they are blessed to be in your family! (I know I want to be!)
YOU are cute. and amazing! i love it!
that may be one of the cutest things i've ever seen. i love traditions. i might have to copy.
